HuntHarder Report post Posted January 14, 2018 I have owned both the hunting and the tactical frames. As Rossislider said, the tactical is just a little more rigid and also has a few more connection points for straps. The hunting frame is plenty strong enough for what I do and I have gone to it exclusively. As far as switching bags back and forth, the newest hunting frame makes it a lot quicker job than the previous models. I would say it takes less than 5 minutes to switch a bag over. Most of the new bags have the meat shelf capability, which is essentially taking the top of the bag off the frame and using the cinch down straps to secure the bag to the frame. The adjustability of the frame is what really sets Kifaru apart from lots of other companies. The frame can be adjusted for length of torso pretty easily and ensure most of the weight will ride on your hips and not on your shoulders.
