Time for freezer clean out. Free Mule Deer meat

Recommended Posts

Cleaning out my freezer. This is what is left over from the 3 deer we got in Nov of 2016. Approx 20-30 lbs of roast, streaks, etc. Hopefully someone can use it. Chris @602-318-6333 Goodyear, Az

Question - I've seen people on craigslist selling their game meat... is that legal? In my home state it is absolutely illegal.

As far as I know the only game you can sell in AZ is buffalo. And that has to be to a grocery.

I'll look but that is the reason processors stamp "NOT FOR SALE" on the packaging.

reported.

I sent the posting to AZGFD as well.

While I can't find anything that says its outright illegal, this section of the regs addresses the topic:

R12-4-305. Possessing, Transporting, Importing, Exporting, and Selling Carcasses or Parts of Wildlife
