muledeerarea33? Report post Posted December 19, 2017 Would it of been better if it was shot at 850 yards and it was a 110 deer? Just a question haha!! Congrats to your buddy!
Flatlander Report post Posted December 19, 2017 Would it of been better if it was shot at 850 yards and it was a 110 deer? Just a question haha!! Congrats to your buddy! We have had this convo, he hasnt shot many deer, so any deer with antlers is fair game in his book. Where as i would have passed on this buck,( I've killed over 300+deer, so I'm picky and dont really have to kill a Deer)His tag, His Hunt. He hunts to eat these critters with his wife and little girls and could care less what others think, puts in his time hunting hard... Hunting with someone with ZERO ego to feed is a breath-of-fresh-air for me, Congrats again "WhiteBoy"... This is why the world needs a sarcasm font. Congrats on a great harvest.

AZDirtyTaco Report post Posted January 2, 2018 Love this post and congrats on a great memory shared with your buddy! I've passed on score for less tines and more meat in the freezer in the past and wouldn't hesitate to make the same decision again. Haven't found a good recipe for the antlers yet.
