bonecollector777 Report post Posted December 12, 2017 My brother shot this long horned ram Friday evening after a 4 hour stalk to get in position. Estimated 8-9 years old. He had a more massive shorter horned buddy that may have scored a little better but this guys right horn was too awesome to pass up. He had Broomed off his left horn pretty bad but he's awesome either way. Sheep Hunting is definitely one of the toughest hunts I've been on. From finding them to being able to judge them accurately and then being able to make a stalk on them. Hopefully we get to do it again sometime! Good job Jared. Thanks to a lot of people for the help including Brett (coueser4) and Mark (AZBULLHUNTER).
WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted December 12, 2017 Congrats Blake and Jared that right horn is truly impressive!! Do you have any front pictures to see the broomed left horn? Just curious on the difference. One of these days I'll get a tag I hope. It was a good year for Jared.
rossislider Report post Posted December 12, 2017 That's pretty awesome! Congratulations. I'd also love to see a picture of both horns, just pure curiosity.
bonecollector777 Report post Posted December 12, 2017 Left horn is about 6 inches shorter and he rubbed the crap out the end of it on something. Hurt his last mass measurement pretty bad. Almost 3 inches smaller mass measurement than his right. Pic is struggling to load I'll post it in a second

GRuiz Report post Posted December 20, 2017 Really nice ram, On my hunt in the same unit, I had four veterans of the unit help. really fun hunt. What did your ram end up scoring? The photo looks to be on the north side of the unit, what area was he taken?
Troy Scott Report post Posted December 21, 2017 I think this ram was possibly over judged because nobody would knowingly shoot a ram under 150 net score in a unit where 170+ rams exist.
