browtine Report post Posted December 11, 2017 My son wanted to get a couple of his deer and a javelina done, euro mount. Only places we could find were way east of us as we live in tonopah. He watched some utube and after some coaching from a friend that does it he did his own. Very proud of him he's only in eighth grade. He deci decided he could start doing them for other people. He said he wants to go to taxidermy school when he graduates will see, 4 yrs is a long time. Anyways if anyone in the far West valley needs one done pass the word. Thanks for reading. Very proud dad.

rossislider Report post Posted December 11, 2017 Nice! My son does the same thing. I'm going to shoot you a PM with some tips to help him get started, things I wish he/we could have learned the easy way. Once he is up and going let me know. We get a lot of calls from guys on your side of town, but the geography makes drop off and pick up difficult. We'll send them your son's way.

brian390 Report post Posted December 14, 2017 I think that it is really good that your son is already thinking of a job for the future. It will make life easier when he gets older if he's doing what he likes to do.
