Delw Report post Posted December 3, 2017 You know im not sure, My dads good friends with him. I started shooting for him last year and he built me a nice set up. My lens are glass tho? He did come out with a amber lens tho haven't looked through it also one that has kind of a blue hue to it. It Sounds pretty cool but haven't personally looked at one. I have a supra I've been using for indoor 3ds and outdoors im going to just set it up. Its a older one but shoots too good to get rid of. Our last league series I managed to shoot 50+ with it. I know the bow can shoot just hope I can haha. What clarifier are you guys using? I may have to get a different lens for mine. I think I have a green stamped one haven't looked at a dot with it tho but I know with a fiber it wasn't too bad. clarifiers and verifiers are tricky as you cant really just buy one and think it will work. most shops have the set-up were you look through 2 lens on a string hold them part and move the clarifer or verifier to your liking. the brian I am thinking of is back east heres a link it explains a ton. https://specialtyarch.com/ https://specialtyarch.com/clarifiers/ there also a dealer page on who has what. the dealers should have the tools I think there is 3 in tucson
PseAZ Report post Posted December 3, 2017 Thanks for the links yea I may have to give Brian a call next week and see what he recommends and maybe get a dot kit from him. Thanks for the links ill have to look into getting a clarifier. I've used one before but took it our. Sunrise with one sucks haha. Lesson learned. But being indoors shouldn't be too bad. Side note as far as the shoot goes how hard is it to get practice time in as well as how long would you try and show up before you shoot? assuming it takes a bit to get in and set up. Delw Report post Posted December 3, 2017 years past it could take over an hour , then they did the fast pass took about 20 mins to an hour. last year they opened up more ranged and with a fast pass it was 5 mins at most times. the whole key is the time you want to practice. if you go during dinner time and late no wait. if you go before shoots good luck. gotta remember there are 2500-3000 shooters there. fridays are worse because everyone is excited, then sat and sunday they relax and have a few drinks with friends and forget all about practicing. we leave thursday am, get there at 2-4 and she runs up and practices sometimes. friday she doesnt and other days she will a few times with friends. we always come back on a monday due to traffic and people driving freaking NUTS remember lots of people goto vegas and laughlin over the weekend and come back sunday, they also leaver friday around midday(not the shooter just regualr guests) so traffice is heavy. seen way to many accidents on the hill just before you get to i-40 by kingman. Watch that speed trap just over the hoover dam going towards vegas. you go 7-8 over you will get a ticket. sunday coming home there is a line of cops there waiting. and on fridays theres a ton of cops from kingman to vegas. When they have the practice sessions do you get a lane for a hour or something or how do they do that? I personally don't care when I shoot Im usto working weird hours so shooting stupid early or late don't bug me just wanna make sure everything survives the ride over and is good to go.
