PRDATR Report post Posted November 29, 2017 some of what you have posted above does not apply if you remain with 200 miles of the border. <200 miles does not require a vehicle permit. I go to MX frequently with a 3/4 ton truck and do not have any problems but I remain within the 200 mile "no hassle zone". Are you staying in the Green Zone? Just know about "no hassle" which is < 200 miles. < 100 miles is no visa and no vehicle permit < 200 miles you need a visa but no vehicle permit > 200 miles you need both South all the way down to Guaymas/San Carlos is still < 200 miles Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
