hunterofcoues Report post Posted November 8, 2017 I was out scouting in unit 31 in blm land north of klondyke road and my atv slid off the road climbing out of a canyon. If anyone has experience/skills in pulling out atvs, or knows anyone in Safford with a side by side and a tow cable let me know. Please send me a text or call if you are available. cohntr6 Report post Posted November 12, 2017 Can you get a truck into where your ATV is ?
hunterofcoues Report post Posted November 13, 2017 Got back in there with some cables ropes pulleys and got her back on the road last Friday, was a long day. Very grateful to my crew of ATV extractors. It was in an area that a truck couldn't get into. Will have to think carefully about the places I go into alone next time. Happy hunting everyone.

azshtr Report post Posted November 16, 2017 My quad has a winch but I also carry a z line setup. The z line kit goes on the motorcycle as well. Very compact and capable. Here is an example and info. You can make your own at any hiking / climbing store. https://bestrestproducts.com/shop/recovery-gear-mrs-system/motorcycle-recovery-system-mrs/
