It was in Europe, they do a lot of that there especially for boar, probably for the last 1000 years.

Is the deer required to butcher his kill and save the meat or is he allowed to just trophy hunt?

He was a flusher for a hunter, not the hunter. He had an unfortunate incident which is a shame.

Let the hunter hunt, don't use people to flush and push animals to the hunter. That isn't my idea of hunting.

That's how it's done for whitetail all over the US. Personally I love a good deer push. Rather do that any day than sit with binos glued to my face. Should people have to glass for themselves with no help?

I like a good push hunt, and have been apart of them before in my life, but in my experience the pushers are also hunters with weapons trying to fill a tag.

Having non-hunters push for you though is odd to me.

I used pushers this past season in 20a.... well ok, I mean, I didn't know who they were, or anything like that. But when they were rambling down the road in their side by side, then talking over the motor... they helped push deer out of the cover for us.

When in a crowd you are at the mercy of the dumbest person. That goes for living in a city, driving in your car, and hunting in AZ.
