hoghntr Report post Posted October 30, 2017 Couple buddy's on here were up for helping me glass and haul deer this morning so I gladly accepted. Had another shoulder surgery in Sep and have bone spur killing my Achilles tendon so quite glad to have opportunity at even a small buck. 👍 when you have help and legal venison nearby it's a no brainer for me. 7mm-08 w/139sst with nice little 300 yard shot! Check out his funny antlers it's like the forks are backwards. Thanks Mike & David

WampusCat Report post Posted October 30, 2017 Big congrats and a best of luck on your recovery. Always neat to recover the slug. When you mentioned the rifle I couldn't help but think about Lark.

hoghntr Report post Posted October 30, 2017 Good job. Interesting country. Reminds me of the sunset point area. Everywhere North is yellow and stickery now.. 3-4' tall stickery things that cling to everything your wearing. Can't believe we haven't had more fires. Red Rabbit Report post Posted October 30, 2017 Should be some good eating, even if his antlers are on backwards. Did the core separate from the jacket in the SST?
hoghntr Report post Posted October 30, 2017 Should be some good eating, even if his antlers are on backwards. Did the core separate from the jacket in the SST? This happened. I don't think it had a exit hole as if core kept going but this is all I found just inside (was not trapped between hide and flesh was actually just inside flesh. hoghntr Report post Posted October 31, 2017 Congrats and love the hat... That's the new Christian Hunters of America logo. I love the logo and love the blackish gray camo shirts they have with big logo on back but I did learn when volunteering at Cableas Fall Festival last week the decal gets real hot in sun. L.O.L. this hat actually belongs to bowhunter4life cuz I was wearing my old man hat and pics were not very comimentary and I'm always down with promoting CHA as 2 members helped me glass and haul this buck down and out.
