idgaf Report post Posted October 22, 2017 Now that all of the big bulls have been taken by the watermarked professionals or the Uber Archers that will not touch their bow again until their next early season elk tag, its time to see if I can find one bull that is mature. But I get my cow tags and laugh at the one hit wonders who never wear out a pair of boots.even struck out three years in a row on drawing a late archery bull tag. 4Falls Report post Posted October 23, 2017 I have a late archery obsession. I keep doing these hunts thinking that the outcome will be different (definition of crazy). However its a nice time to be in the woods and you don't have to share it with a lot of other hunters and their entourages. One of these years, Im going to make it happen on a big bull. The area I checked did not have a hunter and I saw over 100 cows and twenty bulls. It was a several mile walk.
