JakeUSMC Report post Posted October 5, 2017 After harvesting my first bull I decided I would eat the heart. After a lot of searching I couldn't find a recipe that really grabbed me so I decided to make up my own. I sliced the heart up into strips and nuggests, cutting off all the white parts and valves/arteries or whatever they were LOL. Got a pan going with coconut oil Dipped the pieces in egg Rolled them in a mixture of coconut flour and almond flour and fried on each side till golden brown (meat was pretty rare) Served and ate hot! FREAKIN' DELICIOUS!!!!!!! I couldn't believe how good the meat was and the crust I made was perfect for it.

Coach Report post Posted October 6, 2017 Gotta say, between my sons and I, lots of elk, deer, etc. Haven't eaten a heart but next time I'll try it. Liver - no way. I know mine alone would kill half of Cambodia.
