Irish Report post Posted September 24, 2017 Hi everyone , So i went scouting in 6A from stone man lake road south to Apache maid mountain and further south , covered the three or four tanks for hours on end and saw everything but a coues deer. I plan on scouting from Camp Verde north next weekend but was wondering if there is anywhere that really deserves some focus. NOT looking for a honey hole just looking for some meat for my freezer and the experience. Any help appreciated my hunt is November 10th

TwoGuns Report post Posted September 25, 2017 You were in a good area, maybe just bad luck. I was up there this morning on the north side of stoneman lake road at the head of rattlesnake. Didn't glass up any coupes but had 4 of them inside of 100 yards run by me, including a nice buck. Until you sit the same spot multiple times you can't know what is around.
AverageJoe Report post Posted September 25, 2017 You should head east from Camp Verde not north. Head south of 260 on fossil springs rd and have fun👍
