EagleEye Report post Posted September 20, 2017 Shot this bull on day 4. Wanted to thank all the friends on this site who helped make it happen. Bugling was slow I would say mostly going quiet at first light. On night three we heard bugling all around camp at 0330. By 0345 we were in pursuit we walked and hiked with them for over 2 and half hours. At one point we could here two big bulls fighting 150 yds away, while three others continued to bugle if different directions. When I could finally see my sight pins we had 2 bulls working towards each other, I thought they were going to fight again. We closed the distance right between them. My friend made 2 small cow calls and this one walked around the tree I was standing behind, 8 yd shot, and the bull went 40 yds and fell down. I am very pleased with this trophy bull.
