Cable Report post Posted September 17, 2017 Found this one today. Seems pretty thick. Is it from this year? Color seems pretty good, but something was gnawing on one of the tines.
Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted September 18, 2017 Great find! Aging sheds is never easy (unless there's red blood on the pedicle and no critter nibbles on it) but I would say this is not this year's shed. Probably not last year's either. But beyond that, it's hard to tell. So much depends on how much sun light hits the shed and if its in a place where critters can get to it, etc. The great part about this shed is that YOU found it. Everyone likes "fresh" sheds but, at some level, the longer it's been on the ground, the cooler it it. It means that many more people walked buy it and didn't find it. But you found it. Thanks for posting this beautiful shed!
core2 Report post Posted September 28, 2017 Good find. Go back to the same spot next spring and see if you can get some fresh ones.
