Ziva, Back from Training

Recommended Posts

Guest oneshot

Picked-up Ziva from 2week boot-camp(reform school), board and train at Central Pet in Amado,AZ.

Jill the Trainer did great work with her, alittle pricey at 550$$ a week, but worth every dime. She pays attention to commands, is calmer and is now a beast we can live with. It will take more work to keep in line, she is only 7months old and still a puppy, but on the right road now...

Great report. I agree with the "worth every dime" observation. I spent money on a professional trainer to train me and my dogs. Totally worth it. I think a trained dog is a happy dog. The simple "sit" coupled with the "stay" command has been awesome for us and our dogs.

And Ziva really is a pretty dog.

Very true Jimmer dobermans are working dogs and need that training to be all she can be, after getting her locked into the 'simple' commands, not only will we be a happyer, but so will she...

Is she named after the NCIS character?

We were trying to pick a name, looking-up "most popular female red doberman names" from Europe, and choose Ziva, meanwhile NCIS was on the TV ...

Side note, I was in Israel for 4weeks on a remote IDF Military base, awaiting transport into Africa, had a female instructor who ran us stupid, could beat any man in the platoon to the ground, and who shot like Anne Oakley, eye-opening learning exper., not as hot as the "Ziva" on NCIS though hahaha...

(Called the female Israel soldiers "sabra", a kind of super-hero character, and 95% of them were smokin hot, NOT like a common "wookie")

My wife sometimes jokingly calls me Gibbs. I actually take it as a bit of a compliment.
