Then I would go find the hunter and tell him...."come get your bull." If the elk got up and was leaving, and I arrowed him, he would be mine. yeah he was he let everything go and called people out for bitching about it. i know because i have no life except hunting, fishing, and $hit posting. Sonnyaz Report post Posted September 20, 2017 Sorry I haven't been able to post, I had to create a new account. It was my friend Mike that made the shot on the elk. It walked about 10-15 feet from him without being called. We're assuming it was following the 7 cows that were down the hill from us. We tracked it and saw it bedded down about 60 yards from us but about 40 from the road where the guide and his hunter jumped off the side by side utv and hustled to it missing at about 10 yards and hitting the antler 2nd shot in the belly... We tried to call out to them but got ignored, after the gut shot they hi fived and hugged. Then addressed us. They claimed.to have shot it earlier about 300 yards from where it lies in the pick when we asked about the entry wound Mike made they had no answer we asked where is their blood trail no answer, the hunter ended up responding after a few minutes of a calm talk with MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE A BETTER SHOT. I almost hit him at that point but Mike said not too. I couldn't get a good pic of the guide he would turn his back to me when I picked my phone up. This is the hunter.
