Sirui USA launched its A-1005 aluminum travel tripod kit in the USA. The full-featured aluminum tripod kit was designed with the features today’s demanding travel adventurers want in a tripod.

Sirui A-1005 Components

The Sirui A-1005 tripod kit includes a fully retractable, dual-stage center column that provides an additional 12 inches of height, for a maximum height of 58.5 inches. The tripod measures 46.5 inches with the center column retracted. Moreover, the new “no groove” center column design is said to add stability and comfort.

Employing half-turn, twist-lock legs for quick and easy deployment, the tripod also features three leg-angle positions for flexibility in shooting environments. Moreover, the tripod’s legs are engineered to easily convert to a monopod. In addition, the center column attaches in seconds to create a monopod with a maximum height of 60.5 inches.

Furthermore, the center column can be detached and inverted for low-angle or macro shooting. And the legs fold 180º for a folded length of 14 inches

Other features include: a reversible 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch mounting screw is included to maximize capabilities when being used as a tripod or a monopod; a load capacity of 22 pounds; and a center column hook to add additional weight to maximize stability.

Also in the kit is an Arca-compatible Y-10 ball head with separate main locking and panning control knobs.

Included in the box is the A-1005 five-section tripod, the Y-10 ball head, a soft drawstring case, tools, a wrist strap, an instruction manual and warranty card. The kit comes with a six-year limited warranty.
