buglethemin Report post Posted September 6, 2017 First time owning a 300 win mag. I have a Cooper rifle 26inch barrel 1/10 twist with a night force 5-20-56 scope. . Anyone have a good long range hunting load? Powder/bullet/brass let me know what works good for you looking for 700-800 yrd and beyond accuracy. Thanks
STOMP442 Report post Posted September 6, 2017 Every rifle is different and will like different loads. But I have always had good results with 185gr Bergers and H-1000 or the 210s and Retumbo. Either one of those will reach to 800 and beyond quite easily.

pwrguy Report post Posted September 7, 2017 Mine seems to like the heavy bullets combined with 73 - 77 grains of H1000. My best grouping bullet has been the 210 berger and the 208 amax. Also having great results with the 210 ABLR.
Hoss50 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 H1000 & Hornady 208gr ELDM & 210 Berger HVLD are what I am working with on my rifle. They both show great promise. The 208 ELDM's show great potential, but the Bergers are showing great promise too.
