Lv2hnt Report post Posted September 4, 2017 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of the greatest friends and partners to the Arizona Elk Society --- Ray Evridge. He gave of his time and his heart to volunteer, mentor and help others. We lost a true Hero today and one of the best conservationists and hunters in the state. Ray, you made a difference in all of us and in Arizona. You left your footprint upon our hearts. You will be deeply missed our friend, but you will never be forgotten. We will continue to walk in your steps and you will always remain in our hearts. And, as we hear the call of the wild each season, we know you will be with us. We love you brother. RIP. Ray's family has asked that in lieu of flowers you can donate to AES Hunts for Heroes. Ray's latest project he was working on was for his club, Phoenix Varmint Callers (PVCI), and friends to partner with H4H and take 4 of Arizona's wounded veterans on a free predator hunt this October. PVCI, AES and his friends are going to make Ray's legacy live on and host these warriors. Donation link - https://www.arizonaelksociety.org/…/product/donation-to-aes/ All funds will go directly to the PVCI Wounded Veteran Predator Hunt. Thank you.
