Red Sparky Report post Posted August 13, 2017 If you know anybody that lives and or votes in NM I am thinking of supporting Garrett Veneklasen. On Bowsite under the NM regional forum they have a thing about him and Randy Newberg is a guest speaker for a fundraiser on Aug. 28th. and I figured I would go. The nice thing is he is a hunter and not a rancher. If Randy is speaking for him I figure he must be pretty good for hunters. Red Sparky Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Maybe ranchers and hunters can start working together rather than being at odds with each other. Maybe we can get rid of the good old boy system that has been in place for years. Would you prefer Lyons be elected back in? How about Ray Powell or Jim Baca? I can understand why ranchers don't want to allow access to state land or BLM land in checkerboard areas. I also say that hunters should not have to pay for state land they don't have access to.
