KeithV Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Hey Guys and Gals, This is my 16 year old son's very first deer. It was one of my proudest moments as a father. He spotted this buck at 11:30am, it was a scorcher out there. Come to find out, there were actually 2 bucks, they looked like a set of twins. My son made an excellent stalk, got within 400 yards and set up and took his shot at the bigger of the two bucks. The first shot dropped him in his tracks, one more shot for the kill. There was NO ground shrinkage, , the closer we got, the bigger the antlers got!! I was so excited for my son that I almost threw up. The buck was scored at 104 inches. This is the 1st deer we have harvested as a family since my father passed away in 06. The tradition was passed on to the 3rd generation. Hope you like pics, Keith V
