Docter 15x60B Binos - Tucson

Recommended Posts

For Sale:

Used pair of Docter Nobilem 15x60B porro prism binos. Glass is clean/no scratches, the rubber armor coating shows wear consistent with field use.

Includes field case and tripod adapter. Here are some specs: http://www.eurooptic.com/docter-optic-nobilem-15x60-binocular-anthracite.aspx

I have owned Swaro 15 and Minox Bd 15 in addition to these. In my opinion, they are superior to the Minox and I do not feel like I am missing anything when I glass with them over the Swaros (non HD), but they do not carry the edge to edge clarity that the Swaros have.

$575 in Tucson. I have the original box too, but I'm moving and you would need to bear with me on locating it.

Would also throw in a nice bogen tripod and promaster ball head for another $50.

These binos are in Tucson.

Thanks for looking.

How old are they? Have they ever been to the shop for re collimating?

I have owned them since early 2009, bought them from the original owner but actual age is unknown to me but can share the serial number if that's a valid way to date them. I wanna say the box was trademarked late 90s maybe early 2000s so they probably aren't from the 80s...if Docter even produced them that long ago. Never needed to have them serviced so they have not been sent for repairs while I have owned them.

Bump, found the factory box/owner's manual. It's not dated but it does have an email address on it so they have to be made in the last 20 years or so.

$600 with the Manfrotto 190/Promaster Ball head. This is a turn key glassing set up.
