Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted July 24, 2017 So this journey started 9 years ago when Cole wanted a dog..... We got Daisy as a pup! I didn't want to leave her penned up in the yard or tied up so I told my boss at school I needed to bring her to school to train her as a service dog!!! Last year Daisy got her own full page in the Jr. High year book! Not only did she become everybody's best friend at the Jr. High but she also became a frequent visitor to my wife's 5th grade class as a reward for good behavior!! Just recently Grandpa Dillman passed away and we went down for a visit and on the drive down to St. David I got to thinking that Daisy might just be good company for Grandma so I got permission from Cole who is on his mission in Detroit to leave Daisy with Grandma! So full circle has come around, all those years of training as a service dog have come to pay off, Grandma has some company at home and Daisy has somebody to take care of!!! 11 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
