codyhuntsaz Report post Posted October 4, 2017 I confirmed the warranty with the lady behind the counter and she says it is equal to the vortex warranty. If you run the binoculars over with your truck and bring them in they will hand you a new pair. If your old model is no longer available and the newest model cost more you have to pay the difference though.
nickstone Report post Posted October 6, 2017 I'm glad that you both had good experiences with your local Cabelas. My post about the warranty not being transferable, or covering accidental damage is based on conversations with several employees at my local Cabelas, friends experiences, and also an email directly asking if it was transferable or covered accidental damage. Here's the text from my email from Cabelas customer service, I'd be happy to forward either of you the full email if you pm me your email addresses. I'm also curious to see which pair of binos you pick Coueshuntaz Dear Nick; Thank you for your inquiry. Cabela's life time guarantee is not transferable to another person. Cabela's brand merchandise is guaranteed for the life of the product against defects in workmanship under normal wear and tear conditions. The guarantee is not valid on products that are accidentally damaged. It would be my pleasure to assist with any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. hoghntr Report post Posted October 6, 2017 Nick the warranty itself does not say what Betty just told you. Cabelas itself boldly advertises its warranty. I can tell you what I have I walked in with a pair of binocs I could have found in the street andbtbey sent me out door with new pair in box and a receipt showing return. I also could have got a in-store credit for last sale price. The euro instinct hd in 10's, 12's, 15's all are amazing glass. Good luck
hoghntr Report post Posted October 6, 2017 I should say in all that I read nowhere did it say non transferable* also I only know they will cover defects Also I'm not sure where you're located but you're welcome to come (n.phx) and look on TRIPOD thru my 10 x 42 Euro HD and compare them next to a couple of the tens that I'm selling I have Leupold HD 10x50 and Weaver Super Slam. This would give you a pretty good idea of what they're like. Neither of the others are far behind but i do give the edge to the euro hd
