CouesPursuit Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Unfortunately there aren't any stud bucks to drool over but there is more than enough action to call this spot Plan A in 39 days. Might buy my first bear tag as well, what do you think about bear #1? Also unfortunately, these WGI Cloak cameras have been nothing but problems, this is the only picture the camera took after I left. Luckily I had a cheap Primos set up as a back up. Same bear. This blonde(ish) bear is here every couple days. Bears together. Darn calf is soaking up all the water! Nothing special but bucks nonetheless! Critters etc. attached -

CouesPursuit Report post Posted July 18, 2017 "Bullet Proof" It was an Amazon Lightning Deal for $26 no tax and free shipping. It has zero features, just a slot for an SD card and an on-off switch. Glad I got it because the WGI Cloak failed me twice at this spot.

mattys281 Report post Posted July 19, 2017 That's the kinda spot you want to make sure you bring a video camera to. If nothing else, you should have a good time filming critters

CouesPursuit Report post Posted July 19, 2017 Ah heck that's not such a good spot, I didn't see any turkey. lol Ha! The area in general had a decent amount of turkey until the coati moved in. I heard they put a hurting on the eggs and poults and I would have to agree. Pursuit, you said no bucks to drool over, but I'd like a better pic of that buck in your avatar... Nice pics by the way. Thank you. He was an opening day buck last year not far from this spot. Here is the post with a few. I was solo and wish I would have spent more time taking field pics. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/67920-august-opening-day-coues/
