Hoss50 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Has anyone used any yet. I just saw a couple bags of 300 win mag brass at Cabelas. It was already annealed and was half the price of nosler. Anyone checked out a batch yet to see how it loads and lasts?
CraigK Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Just looked this brass up. Definitely a great price, I couldn't find very much info at all though. I think I might order some just to try it out.
300RUM Report post Posted July 16, 2017 The question to ask is who is producing the brass for Sig. I doubt they are doing the production themselves. Most likely they have contracted a company like Starline to do production runs with the Sig headstamp.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Just like Nosler has Norma produce their brass with a Nosler headstamp, I am sure Sig is doing the same. But at half the price of Nosler, I am suspect to the quality. I tried Starline that a guy gave me. It ended up being used for varmint loads only, that I didn't even bother to reuse after it was shot. It went in the trash. I guess it would have been OK for plinking or varmint rounds, but I have enough other quality brass that I don't need the headache of separating after sizing and cleaning.
