I got a traffic violation. Now I need to go to traffic school. Recommendations?

I have not had a ticket in more than a decade. I did not fully stop at a light and a state trooper got me. I fully understand that I am in the wrong 100% but no warning, stern talking to or nothing.

 

Any recommendations on traffic school? I looked online and it runs $220+!

I just did traffic school online. I did the EZAZ school. Simple but 4 hours

so funny --not your ticket but I sometimes watch the shows on tv and just about 99.99% of minor offense like yours woulda been a warning

 

now I don't know if because they are trying to look good on tv or we just have some -not all- total aces for our great state troopers.

From what I asked my agent from farmers is that they will still increase you're rate. The class is only good to avoid the points problem! (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) I have a cdl so it won't affect me regardless.

CDL here too. Sounds like if insurance is going to get you then you might as well pay the fine and carry the points if you aren't the type of driver to get pulled over often.

fortunately for me the last time I went to traffic class was a long time ago. At that time the violation was not made available to the insurance companies. There's a good chance that may have changed. Seems to be a little CDL get together here I've got one also. From that standpoint I'd be inclined to keep my record clean. You never know when you might have to unexpectedly go filling out job applications.

It's my understanding you can't take the class if you have a CDL.

Thanks for the information. It sounds like $200+ is the norm. I thought I was doing something wrong when I saw the price. Like I said it has been a long time since I had a ticket.
