300RUM Report post Posted July 8, 2017 Still can't figure out why they don't have mandatory reporting so real hard data can be used. Brian NM has been doing it for a while. If you have a tag you have to submit a harvest report. Unless a number of people falsify reports for some reason NM has a very accurate reporting of the number of animals harvested on each hunt. jim Report post Posted July 10, 2017 I solute the ones that get them out there. It appears my grandson did not draw a youth tag this year, so i will be donating my tag to him. I will focus on him enjoying the hunt even tho because of school he will not get the time to hunt as he would have, if he would have drawn the junior tag. We all want tags and there is a fine line on hunter recruitment and keeping the hunters we have, so no matter what they do it will not make everyone happy.
