rageinthesage Report post Posted July 5, 2017 I've spent some time in the black hills. A lot of deer, mostly whitetail. I chased around a nice 140 class muley which is a good buck for the black hills. Packing in to remote country would be difficult, it's kind of like Az with roads everywhere because of logging and such. This might be different in other parts of the state though. I know this info is of much help. The black hills are absolutely beautiful and you'd see a tremendous amount of wildlife without even getting out of your pickup. yotebuster Report post Posted July 5, 2017 Tons of deer and good hunting. No mules needed. If you're looking for somewhere to pack in I'd go to Wyoming or Colorado.

trphyhntr Report post Posted July 7, 2017 You have to complete some archery safety course too I think Really!!! ?? I'm pretty sure it says something like that. But maybe it's just easy and online. SD is funny you gotta go through a background check to get a fishing license lol
