AZLance Report post Posted July 2, 2017 This is the ridge between Buehman and Bullok canyon... Fire moving down into Bullok Canyon right now. Fire is huge! My guess is everything east of Mt Lemon Hwy burns. On the way out they had closed Reddington Road at the bottom.

Big or Bust Report post Posted July 3, 2017 It's worked uphill quite a ways, I'd say the fire is less than a mile northeast of Hitchcock Campground at the upper head of that canyon. It's in the thick trees at least some above 6k feet... We watched pines explode and slurries getting dropped before they closed the bottom....
520HUNT Report post Posted July 3, 2017 This is exactly the same route and pattern as the Bullock fire 16 years ago. Too many fires not enough resources or crews.
Big or Bust Report post Posted July 3, 2017 And it was 5k acres early this morning. I assure you it blew up this afternoon...
