Traveler Report post Posted November 23, 2007 3 years ago I used Rhonda's and was very disappointed. Alot of hair found it's way into the packaged meat. It required alot of trimming and cleanup prior to cooking. The burger was very poor quality and I would not eat it. I brought two elk to Caseys the last two years and have been extremely pleased. Not looking for a debate, just sharing my personal experience. Good luck Dan
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted November 25, 2007 Unfourtanetly, I never used a processor in Flag. I have only taken my stuff to WGP here in Tucson and have been nothing but pleased with them! When azpacknhorns killed his buck, we halued huevos to get it back to camp. as soon as we got it back to camp the thing was skinned. when we got back to my house the next am, we spent probably an hour rinsing it out and cutting wasted meat away. Now, this was a big heavy bodied buck and we took EXTREM care of it. When I picked it up to take the meat back to him, I'd be willing to bet there was 50+ lbs of meat if not more! Take in good meat, recieve it ALL back in good condition!

Good luck Dan thank you Dan for sharing your experience with us and for re-enforcing one of the main topics of our conversations. i can assure you with absolute certainty that we did not add the hair you found in your packages. i do not wish to debate this point either so i'll move on to invite you all to see some of the pictures i've taken. i will post pictures of the good, the bad, and the ugly so that you can all see for yourselves what all processors are faced with. i have also begun categorizing and recording the animals that come to my facility. i will post those statistics as well. perhaps this is a wake up call for everyone to start learning how to take care of their game. i am still very busy with the general bull elk hunt in progress which will be immediately followed by the last antlerless hunt. i will post my final comments at the end of the hunt on the topic of game processing. until then good hunting to all of you. larry

Guest 300ultramag. Report post Posted November 28, 2007 This thread is lame....... if u have someone process your meat, say thank u and pay the man. If your not happy, than next time man up and do it yourself! Personally i think it is very childish to post the actual name of a processor and bash them, u could have left them nameless and handled your situation differently. Now this guy has to come on here and defend his company. My family owns several buisnesses in the valley and I would be very upset if u were to take bread off of their table because u hunt mule deer. Next time shoot a Coues and the little meat u recieve will at least taste good. Your not suppose to put water on your meat because beer works better!

Huntress85 Report post Posted September 13, 2014 Took mine to Rhonda's and I so satisfied! It's all how you shoot your animal bill. So you say you only destroyed the lungs... Doubt it! There is a thing called blood shot! And depending on how you took care of it in the Field determines how you get it back! No one should have to wash and clean up the mess you made! Sorry just saying! Rhonda's is the most honest cleanest establishment I have ever takin my game to. I will never use another processor. Very happy with my experience with them!
