300RUM Report post Posted June 26, 2017 I'm 6'2" and 205 I wear xl in everything. I hate the "trendy" aspect of Kuiu camo but I love this gear and so I buy almost everything in solid colors. I'm 6' 3" and 215. I have a problem with many jackets that do not come in a long size. The end of the sleeves creep up my arms. Something about it really annoys me. I will put a jacket on and pretend to draw a bow. If the end of the sleeve starts heading for my elbow we have a problem. This eliminates many potential sources of clothing. I have not noticed long sizes in Kuiu, how does the sleeve length fit you?

I really like the Major Brown items, I wish more offerings in it.

Been wearing kuiu since 2012 and hate the trend now. Thought about changing but I've spent enough on kuiu and will wait till it ware's out first. I will not wear first lite either, all the mtn ops guys wear that.
Zeke-BE Report post Posted June 26, 2017 I know people keep talking about trendy clothing but really how many brands that are out there (camo pattern wise) 20?? 30 the most?? Then break it down to western hunter patterns 10??? Break it down to top tier brands just a hand full. Divide that up to all the hunters of course it's a lot. Same here love the major brown and wish they had more options... I just got the attack pants in major brown.. I wear a waist 34 and Kuiu are pretty true to fit. If you wear a 34 waist they are going to fit like a 34 waist.Weren't Sitka and Kuiu pretty much founded by the same guy he just lost control of the Sitka company and started Kuiu. One of the reasons you dont see Kuiu for sale in stores is because they dont want to get too big.
HUNTnTAT2 Report post Posted June 26, 2017 If you can swing the super down insulated jacket. They are worth their weight times 100 in gold. Even the Teton insulated is great.

But dickeys are like 33.5, some care hearts are 34 and fits perfect and my last pair I bought I swear they are like a 33.5 feel to me. Phil how heavy are you and height? Zeke-BE Report post Posted June 26, 2017 Holy crap. Yoy can tell .5inch difference in waist??!! I can tell because this is the story of my life with pants. I think Im just a little to big for normal 34s and way to samll for 36s. So I notice a difference very fast in the width. When I try on Dickies for work pants I have to try on all the 34s because there are always a couple that stitch it up slightly bigger. Or maybe I should just loose some weight ?????
