I just sold one to a gentleman and his wife. He was hesitating and his wife said "you wanted to buy one when there was election worry and it was much more expensive - get it now"

I've got to agree with her - I saw a guy buy a DPMS post ban with a fixed carry handle for $1700 after Sandy Hook. $399 is the right deal.
