Arrowsniper Report post Posted June 6, 2017 40 mph winds Saturday. Rather than drop fire chemicals by air and stop it, they'll play with it, and hope they can control it by shovels and tractors. This is exactly what happened when they had that big fire, what was it, 15 plus years ago in Wildcat. And it failed. They didn't get serious until it gets near houses. dcshorthairs Report post Posted June 7, 2017 We went fishing yesterday at Willow Springs and had a blast. The smoke was THICK in the morning. By about 0900 it had blown out for the most part. Here was what we seen after we loaded the boat in the afternoon. We watched the planes and helo's fly around for several hours. I sure hope they get on this one. Seen its up over 2500 acres.
