PRDATR Report post Posted June 7, 2017 Get a Battery tender. That brand specifically. If it is a Polaris get the Polaris branded cover specific to your model. It will not be cheap but it will cover it completely all the way to the ground. It seems to be of a better (thicker) quality too. We kept our range battery on a battery tender, outdoors and it died, as stated with regular water maintenence. Some of the old timers would put some battery oil in each cell especially on RV's. More D Report post Posted June 7, 2017 Wow. All of my battery issues went away when I added the battery tender. I also replaced the crappy Ranger battery with a AGM (?) battery. I liked it because it was sealed. I probably had 4rys with it and zero problems.
