300RUM Report post Posted June 1, 2017 The leveling kits are generally spacer blocks that go between the top of the strut and the mount. Usually secured by 3 bolts. If you can turn a ratchet and operate a jack they are usually fairly easy to install. You might want to look into installing it yourself and saving the shop bill. Sometimes you may have to have a spring press for the shocks which can be a pain but guess it depends if you have the time or even want to do it yourself. ctafoya Report post Posted June 1, 2017 I did my own. Bilstien 5100 strut with multiple positions. Used the stock spring. While I was in there I upgraded the junk upper control arm with one that allows you to replace the ball joint. ctracingraptor Report post Posted June 1, 2017 If it's a 2015 and up, it's not a easy job. You have to remove the spring, compress the coil, remove the strut, and install the spacer, and then put it all back together, with a tremendous amount of force.
