Anyone watching the Americas cup?

If your not familiar with the Americans cup I highly recommend you watch the final race of the 2013 cup race. The 2013 America's Cup was one of the best cup races ever! Fast forward to 2017 and the boats are almost 30 knots faster. It makes for some very exciting races.

Is that because we have more wind?

I remember when Dennis Connor and his Stars and Stripes out of San Diego kicked the crap out of the Kiwis when they brought that GIANT boat. How better to beat them than by flying a hull with that big old catamaran they built and sailed!

Growing up on the eastern coast a couple of miles from the ocean I watched every year. Although I myself didn't sail I had a neighbor who built a couple of sloops in his driveway. Nothing huge both were just under 30'. I spent most of my teens on the water or at the beach.
