azelkhunter2 Report post Posted May 22, 2017 Thinking about selling a 6.5 creedmore barreled action. Remington short action / tactical bolt knob with a 24 inch brux number 5 fluted 1/8 twist barrel with a badger brake. Black cerakote on all. Phoenix custom rifles did the work. I have the invoice so you can verify the work done. Shoots in the .3's with factory 143 eldx rounds Less then 150 rounds fired. Like new...... I have never sold a barreled action not sure what it's worth.....

muledeerarea33? Report post Posted May 23, 2017 I'd guess action $3-500, barrel and work done would double that. $700-1k? Or it's worth what someone would pay. Not sure what the barrel and smith work cost you.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted May 23, 2017 Nothing. You can get rid of it by dropping it off at my house...

lancetkenyon Report post Posted May 23, 2017 Action $400 Trueing $200 Barrel & lug $450 Chambering $200 Brake & install $250 Bolt knob installed $80 Cerakote $250 Total around $1700. I would ask $1400 or so if it has bottom metal and a trigger. I think I know this barreled action. And I think it would shoot even better with some handloads. Most popular cartridge going right now too.
PRDATR Report post Posted May 23, 2017 I'd go $675 to $750 on a good day. No doubt you have more than that into it but that is the range for a factory rifle with a stock that will shoot the same size groups either from factory loads or tweeking handloads. lancetkenyon Report post Posted May 23, 2017 Wait.....I didn't see it show up on my doorstep..... That was quick. Add a nice stock and scope, and go shoot a custom rifle already built without the wait. Someone got a nice barreled action.
