Benbrown Report post Posted May 24, 2017 Wife just got a bill for $19, but it's worth it to avoid I-25 in Denver. If I was in the pickup with a double axle trailer, I'd have to think about it...

azbow Report post Posted May 25, 2017 Is there a way to pay when you get on or off? Or do you just get a bill later? Heading that way next month.

I have not been on E470 in many years though.Ya or one of those big funnels you toss the money into Last time I was through there (last summer), all of the toll booths were either shut down or gone completely. As AZPlumber said, you can go online and create an account and the rates are discounted.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted May 27, 2017 I remember years ago coming to a complete stop at a toll booth in either Illinois or Wisconsin. I remember thinking that was the craziest thing I'd ever seen at the ripe old age of about 8.
MT_Sourdough Report post Posted May 27, 2017 Well boys and girls, if you don't like toll roads, then I suggest you pay close attention when the administration gets to their infrastructure bill. When they talk private/public co-operation, the underlying meaning of that term is toll roads. Private sector does not make a living investing into something without the expectation of return on investment with a nice profit. I.E. An investment group would not invest into the construction of a stretch of road without expecting to get money back from that road. That means tolls. Not to mention it gives somebody the right to track your movements. 2 cents

I remember thinking that was the craziest thing I'd ever seen at the ripe old age of about 8. You were probably in the socialist republic of Cook County Illinois. I had pretty much the same experience there at a similar age many years ago.
