lancetkenyon Report post Posted June 11, 2017 Went and shot in the wind today. Amazing how much wind effects a 40 grain bullet @ 1150fps in 50 yards. We sighted in her rid, and let it cool for about 30 minutes, then the wind kicked up and we shot. With no wind, the newly built 10/22 shoots like this... And yet again, Taylor beat me. Shooter McGavin Report post Posted June 12, 2017 Was able to get out yesterday morning with my CZ 452 American 22lr, topped with a Burris Droptine 2-7x35 scope. Probably could use a little more magnification but was able to pull it off. Great day for sure, need more practice but overall pleased. Some knucklehead was shooting a 9mm next to me and put 3 holes through my target. They are circled in red. Definitely going to a have a family shoot off with a bragging rights trophy to be passed around. I'm sure it will be in the kids hands more than mine.
