lancetkenyon Report post Posted May 14, 2017 We had two black dobies when my older daughter was a baby. She was about 9 months, they were 8 weeks. Put them in the playpen together. Those dogs were sloop protective of her, they would not let anyone near her but my wife and I. Not grandparents, friends, no one. They would get between her and other people and block her out form going to anyone. Had them for about 8 years, then one got lost during a big storm that blew my fence down.
