Death wobble.. pure adrenaline.. it's the reason I'm a dad now!!! Ball joints fixed mine!

I had my shoulder joint fixed and it was painful. Can't imagine ball joints....

It's a temporary fix, it will come back. Unfortunately.

Probably the best gas truck motor at this time. Plenty of power and decent fuel mileage. Have 5 work trucks with the big hemi, 4 are always 16 to 18 mpg the other is 12 to 14 but it's always in town. Has better low end power than your usual gasser.

I have a 2016 Bighorn. It gets about 16-17 highway mpg, 10 mpg when towing a load. I have no issues pulling a 10K lb toyhauler. I have owned Fords and Chevys including diesels and have had less problems with the Dodges. We went to using them exclusively on the farm and worked the snot out of them.

I had one that developed a death wobble. New tires and a front end alignment took care of it.

I have a 2015, 2500, 6.4 Hemi Tradesman that I love. It has 46K on it and gets 10-12 when towing my bass boat, 14-15 in town and 17-18 on long trips and . It gets me where I want to go when hunting and have not had any issues with it. This is my 4th Dodge since 07 only cause I trade them in when I get to 50K but I think I'm gonna keep this one for a while. If you get one be sure to add a leveling kit and 35s.

I'm hoping to get a 2500 6.4l in the future. I have had 4 Dodge Rams. 1 diesel, and 3 gas engines, including the 5.7 Hemi. Love the Hemi. Most of my driving is city, and not much towing. A diesel has better longevity, and torque. I just don't need it, or the noise.

Go with the bigger hemi. I have a couple friends complaining that the 5.7 isn't towing well, but then they had been driving diesels previously.

If you decide to keep the truck long term, at around the 250,000 mile marker the difference you paid for in poor fuel mileage would have paid for the Cummins. And which do you think would have the greater resale value?

And no, the new Cummins are not noisy they are incredibly quiet.

I will order with .410 gears to boot.

Do you guys who feel the need to lift your truck with big tires factor in your gear ratio becoming drastically higher? Factory is .373 on 2500 and every time the tire gets taller your gear ratio gets higher.... meaning gutless.
