Zeke-BE Report post Posted May 8, 2017 Im taking the Varsity Scouts this summer by Big Lake and planning on doing spot lighting with them. Its been 15 years since Ive been spot lighting. What are some good spot lights or LED lights that can reach out and touch. Im not afraid of a little money either. If I get one Ill end up using it more on the family summer camp outs
rossislider Report post Posted May 8, 2017 I've had several over the years including some expensive, and some relatively cheap ones. My wife got me this one for Christmas a few years ago after my last one broke. Being a relatively inexpensive brand from Walmart, I didn't expect much from it. It has been my best one to date. Quite small and compact, but has a very strong beam. Holds a charge for a good amount of time, but can also be plugged into a vehicle outlet. I charge it up and throw it in the truck every time I head up north. I'd buy the exact same one again if it broke or got lost. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Stanley-FatMax-10W-LED-Lithium-Ion-Rechargeable-Spotlight/38243763?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222228027572428&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=57949642488&wl4=pla-81845423808&wl5=9053836&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=38243763&wl13=&veh=sem

I just ordered a new onebecause mine got ruined in water. Use em for navigating across the lake while night fishing and that was the best one I've ever had. I've never had it die on me so I can't say. At least a few hours. It will work immediately when plugged in if the battery goes dead. It comes with a reasonably longcord, so I usually leave it plugged in if using it from the truck.
rossislider Report post Posted May 8, 2017 Also, since you can get it from Walmart, you can try it out and do an easy return if it doesn't work for you.
ctracingraptor Report post Posted May 8, 2017 If your not afraid of some money, buy a Streamlight, I use them for work everyday. I also purchased one just for spotlighting and it's a beast for how small it is
