QCwtAddict Report post Posted May 5, 2017 If they REALLY wanted them removed, then they should allow ANY Kaibab deer tag holder the opportunity to legally take a deer (as normal) OR elk during their respective hunt. I can't imagine anyone giving up a kiabab deer tag to shoot a cow or small bull elk

Not give up the deer tag.

azelkhunter69 Report post Posted May 6, 2017 I want to know who the drew the tags during the draw. What a waste of an application. Well, they got over 100 people to blow their points, when they could have just gotten a tag as a leftover. I bought one today because it is only $48 and I will be up there on 2 deer hunts. So, if I get lucky and run into one, I will shoot it. Talked to a game biologist up there last year and he said they want them all gone because those units are the premier deer units in the state and they want to keep it that way. Last year was my first year up there and all I could think was what great elk country it was. He said the elk that are there come down from Utah. While I was there, I talked to a lot of people that spend countless days/weeks up there and they had seen a grand total of 8 elk. 3 of them were where they hunt buffalo, and God forbid if you go anywhere near there if you don't have a buffalo tag. Those dudes are nuts.

spqhunt Report post Posted May 10, 2017 Found this on my turkey hunt this past weekend. I consider it a needle in a very large haystack.
