Couestracker Report post Posted April 23, 2017 Encountered this guy while hiking in Naegelin Creek on the youth turkey hunt in unit 23. It was coiled up and ready to strike, but when I got close to take the pic, it took off. Best morning was Saturday, worked 3 gobblers for 20 minutes, then 2 different shotgun shots. A guy and his 2 kids were already in place unbeknownst to us. They both missed. Only 2 other separate Tom's heard, none seen. 1 hen seen in 3 days hunting, scouting. No one from camp got a bird in 23. Hope it improves for you, good luck!
