AZ402 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 Went looking for a eastern whitey this past weekend with my bow. I ended up with a respectable P&Y buck.

Red Rabbit Report post Posted October 31, 2007 Stan, Nice 8 point. I did not know we had such nice whities near Sedona, judging from the red soil. Doug~RR

Red Rabbit Report post Posted October 31, 2007 From the red soil, I would guess Texas or Oklahoma. I was thinking Texas Panhandle. We could be close. Did you retrieve that GPS tracker from underneath his truck yet?
AZ402 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 I don't like to give area info on the www, even if it isn't in AZ. The panhandle area is a pretty good guess though. There is not an epic story to tell with this buck. It was a hunt that came down to patience and timing. The buck presented a broadside shot at 15yrds on the second morning of my hunt. I hit him true and watched him go down within 30yrds of my ground blind. I was also able to harvest an archery turkey and a doe; it was a good weekend to say the least. Thanks for all the kind words.
