longshooter Report post Posted October 30, 2007 I have a pair of leica 10x42 Geovids and I have been looking for lense caps to protect my glass from dirt and trees while I'm out hunting. I can not find any thing that works. Does any one have any ideas or has any one found caps that work ?
TLH Report post Posted October 30, 2007 Mine broke after about 6 months and i replaced them with Swarovski lens covers--i picked mine up at the sportsman warehouse--they fit on there just like the Lieca covers did.
Ron G. Report post Posted October 30, 2007 One of mine also broke after about 6 months. I called Leica and they sent me two new ones, free of charge... Ron
COUESAZ Report post Posted October 30, 2007 When i am in the field i use my binos whith the crooked horn strap set up and one of the cloth bino pouches that just slide over the binos while they are on you. There is a strap that keeps it hooked to you so it does not fall to ground when you are glassing. It has a little front pouch to hold my cleaning stuff as well. Kevin Report post Posted October 31, 2007 I'm with AZ guide on this one! The Crooked Horn bino cover is great for keeping dirt and debris off the glass and also protects them from scratches when busting brush. Also keeps them from bouncing around.
