The hunt WAS epic and I committed to it like no other hunt I've ever done; and I've had a couple real tests of will and endurance before. Not possible without the mentorship of a few crazy talented desert hunters that as I said before, you know who you are. To give a proper and official shout out: Clay Goldman at Mogollon Taxidermy did the mount. His attention to detail on the animal AND the rock/vegetation is outstanding IMO. I provided him a sketch, narrative of the "look", and pictures of the ram alive and rocks for reference. Personally I think he nailed it and couldn't give him higher recommendations for anyone looking to get any taxidermy work done.
