Codywhi1 Report post Posted April 2, 2017 I had a decent amount of points saved up coming into 2016 and having limited time to archery hunt in August due to drawing a early archery antelope and elk tag I figured it was a great year to throw them in there on a hunt that I had my eyes on for a long time. The hunt was just as I thought it would be and after looking over a ton of bucks with great friends and family I couldn't let this buck walk, I made a quick stock from 1000+ yards right into 205 yards and the rest was history. The lion was glasses up during an afternoon of archery hunting my dad watched her kill a fawn and drag it into a canyon. A quick call was made and we found ourself the next morning with the dogs hot on her trail they had her treed a few times but never long enough for us to get in on her she made her last mistake when she walked down the canyon we where in right into bow range a quick shot and another one for back up and she was done! 15 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
